The apartment is placed on the first floor of a typical venician house.
From the apartment, recently modernized, you have an exellent view of the Lagoon with its islands: Murano, Burano and St. Michele.
The apartment is situated in a calm area next to the Arsenal walls.
It is a landmark that allow turists to orientate themselves in the most feature district of Venice.
In 10 minutes on foot you can reach St. Marc Square and Rialto Bridge. With the water-bus (the stop is in front of the apartment), you can get to the principal islands af the Lagoon:
- Murano is famous for its Glass Factory;
- Burano is characteristic for its colourated house and it is famous for its laces;
- in Torcello you can see the Devil Bridge, the Attila's Throne and the ancient Santa Maria Assunta Cathedral;
- in St. Michele there is the historical cemetery;
- in Lido there is the beach and on september, you can see the Internataional Show of Cinema of Venice.
From the 'Giardini' water-bus stop you can reach the Biennial Exhibition of Moder Art.
TO REACH THE APARTMENT
Take vaporetto line 42 or 52 (every 10 min.) and get off at Celestia. On your arrival in Venice, please contact us so that someone can meet you at the Celestia stop and show you to the apartment (1 min. by foot).
